Sanjiv Das (born February 22, 1962) is the CEO of Lonestar's Caliber Home Loans, the initiator of a home mortgage and service provider founded in 2013 by the merger of Calibus Funding and Vericrest Financial. He is a former CEO of CitiMortgage, a position he held since January 2008 until he resigned in December 2013.

Careers and education
Das is Chief Executive Officer of Caliber Home Loans, a home mortgage insider and service provider owned by Lone Star Funds, a post he has held since February 2016. Since Das was appointed CEO, the company continues to expand in the West from the United States. The company announced plans to acquire First Priority Financial in May 2016 and continue its expansion strategy into a high-growth regional market with attractive long-term opportunities.
Earlier in his career, Das worked for American Express, Bank of America, First USA, and Morgan Stanley. He was appointed CEO of CitiMortgage in 2008, taking over Citi's mortgage business during the US economic crisis and housing crisis. While at Citi, Das plays a role in designing and successfully delivering many consumer programs, helping families avoid foreclosures, staying in their homes and regaining their financial footing. He pioneered a loan modification program that allows recently laid-off borrowers to reduce their monthly mortgage payments by about $ 500 for three months. He also launched Citi Military Road to Recovery Tour, which aims to help members of the servicemembers with financial education, and the PCS Transfer Assistance Program, which lowers mortgage payments for forced servic members.
Das left Citi to join former Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit in setting up private equity practices for the TGG Group. In 2014, he was hired as Chief of Staff at First Data Corporation, a global payment technology solutions company owned by private equity firm KKR. He is a member of the leadership team that takes public First Data in October 2015, giving the largest IPO this year. Das also helped launch First Data Apple Pay in the UK.
Das serves on the advisory board for Columbia University Center in Indian Economic Policy.
He received an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and B.A. in Mathematics from Delhi University.
